havn't updated in a while.
not too much going on. can't wait for break. im starting to need a real break from everything, and one that's not filled with doing stuff for when i go back to school.

i really liked this quote when i read it:

~"Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote: 'All are architects of fate... so look not mournfully into the past. It comes not back again.'"

makes you think. thinking is good, though we must remember that thoughts are but chains that bind our true feelings.

So, I guess there's only 30 days in November? Woops, that one slipped by me. Oh well. I was gonna post "YEAH FOR TWO DAYS FROM NOW", but now all I can post is

recap
Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

Black Friday Shopping was Awesome! Didn't go out early, but was out from 7:30 til 4:45 so its been a fun day.

Saw a bunch of people at the mall and shopped in 'unique' stores for teenagers to shop in.

My mom saw Molino.

Went bowling.

Was productive with my shopping (and got myself some things).

I still have yet to finish Moby Dick, which I need to do by the end of tomorrow so that I can read The Old Man and the Sea for Tuesday.

Remember: There are a lot of bad isms our there but one of the worst is commercialism.

Peace out.

To all my juniors out there, remember: All modern American literature comes from one book by Mark Twain called Huckleberry Finn.

As for myself: Goodbye Beowulf (and you many cool and thought-provoking Christian allusions)

HELLO HEMINGWAY! (Once again we get to a read the writings of a truly great author!)

Whether true or false, what is said about men often has as much influence on their lives, and particularly on their destinies, as what they do.

its a neat interactive thing that you can do - you rate every candidate and then you can see pretty clearly where your ideas stand when compared to them.

this is pathetic.
This is truly pathetic.

Tonight, 200,000 veterans will sleep under bridges, in alleys, and abandoned buildings.

Only 9% of the U.S. population have served in uniform, but 23% of the homeless are veterans. One out of every three homeless men is a veteran. Approximately 500,000 veterans experience homelessness annually, programs will reach about 20% of them.

Right now, the number of homeless male and female Vietnam era veterans is greater than the number of service persons who died during that war.

The request FY 2008 budget for the Department of Veteran's Affairs is $86.4 Billion. Maybe we can use a little of that on this? Or give them some more instead of spending half a million dollars on fruit labratorys, researching the uses of wood, and indoor rainforests?

I really wanna fix this.

"Blessed is the influence of one true loving soul on another."

"...and blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God."

so I downloaded O Magnum Mysterium, which is actually my favorite orchestral or band composition, ever. (or at least definately in the top 3)!

the only thing is, I don't what band is performing it. All it said was "O Magnum Mysterium - All State 5A Concert Band - 2004 TMEA" so its either texas or tennessee or any other 't' state that im forgetting. or not.

acceptance
I am now officially accepted at Bridgewater College as a part of the class of 2012.

So, I'm not a total waste of potential money. just kidding. lol.

I like the Game Show Network.

Once marching band is over, I am going to get re-certified in First Aid and Preventing Disease Transmission (both of my certifications are expired) and CPR (I have another year on that one but they went and changed it on me.) Additionally, I am going to get back into shape and put together my general emergency services gear because I want to be ground team certified before I have to leave for college next summer and I am also considering Hawk Mountain.

100% pure awesomeness. one of the most fantastic times I've ever had. Nothing can bring be down because I'm on top of the world looking down creation and the only explanation is the love that I've found ever since you've been around, you're what's put me at the top of the world.

n2m. hbu? EDITED
It's been a while since I've updated anything on here. There is not really anything too new to report, life is awesome, the same as it has been for, well for almost seven months. Marching band is almost over. Mixed feelings about that. I am going to be sad to say 'that was my last time marching a field show in a Spartan uniform,' but on the bright side our performing season is not completed, over, and done with until the Memorial Day Parade. That is one hand. On the other hand, I am not at all regretting that I will be forever removed from the drama that is our high school marching band.

football game
Pure awesomeness. I am actually proud of our student body this afternoon. If it had not been for one or two people in the band, I would have without hesitation joined our student section for the third quarter.

Senior year bitches, and something goes right.

Hazleton next week, than a nobody, than playoff game we'll almost surly win because it will be some team we've already beat, and than our last game cause we'll go down to the Lehigh Valley. But hey - long bus ride..

Woke up at 11:25 today. That was fun.
Comp today. Will be more fun.
That is all.

so in issues we're discussing immigration. just as a neat little thing (my idea) he gave us all a sample citizenship test from the official .gov website of the Immigration and Naturalization Service. And some of the questions I argued with the answers and was right and proved myself right - against federal government.

Stupid government. How much I wish I could change that.

So it's September 31st. So much has happened in the past 6 months, but all I keep thinking about is one day....

A glimpse through an interstice caught, ..
Of a youth who loves me and whom I love, silently approaching and seating herself near, that she may hold me by the hand,
There we two, content, happy in being together, speaking little, perhaps not a word.
- W. Whitman (modified by J. Kadjeski)

so it's weird? or is it?? is it?
so it weird that I was nervous for my AP English presentation today period 6 which I knew exactly what to expect but am completely comfortable for my Officer Interview for Navy ROTC Scholarships that I have on Monday at 1300? Cause to me it just seems like that's a little backwards considering that this interview could well end up being the most important thing I do all year (deciding for the future wise) and the most important interview I ever do, ever?

oh well. I'm a pretty messed up kid (not really compared to most people, I'm pretty normal. Sometimes overly normal by not fitting the norm.)

if that last part made any sense to any of you, congratulations.
